I only walked 14 km today.
I accidentally slept in again, but only till 7:00 this time.
Corn farms today
The town of Hospital de Orbigo is entered by crossing a long bridge.
On one of the grassy parts is this...figure out what it is?
I stayed at the Patriarchal Albergue where I knew a few of my friends were going to be.
Outside
The albergue was nice but the mattress I had was foam that had lost its integrity in the middle where countless others before me had slept. I tossed and turned most of the night from sleeping mostly on the wood underneath. The pillows here were all lumpy too, probably from being just thrown in the washer.
I was going to go to the store to get food to cook but it was closed for siesta I went to a restaurant and ordered a €5 combination plate. (Woman's Water Polo was playing on the TV). Fried ham, fried eggs and French Fries. Heart attach special!
Today was Gloria's last day on the Camino. She was going home to Italy because her vacation time was up. I was very sad she was leaving. She gave me an origami frog.
Left to right: Peter from Germany, guy from The Netherlands whose name I forget, Christina from France, Juan from Spain, Gloria from Italy and Lisa from Florida.
Later for dinner, I cooked a non- frozen, freezer section pizza in the stove top. The bottom was done but the top tasted not cooked enough.
