Friday, July 5: Camino- Day 4 Zubiri to Pamplona

Last night Jess, BJ and Marie invited me to San Fermin. They had one extra space in a flat they had rented right off the main plaza. I accepted and we headed off to Pamplona...again.

We walked 22km which is pushing it for me. Most of the day was flat and easy but I still walked into Pamplona with 2 new blisters on my feet.

After dumping our bags we walked around a little then had drinks along the Plaza de Castillo. Later we enjoyed a traditional Spanish meal of Whoppers and fries at Burger King.

In the plazas they have multiple concerts every night this week. They had a bunch of really bad opening bands and artists do three songs each. It was funny because the MC and everyone was announcing in Spanish and less than a quarter of the crowed understood.  Next Rasel played few songs and they were good. The headliner was Henry Mendez. He was entertaining and has a few songs that are very popular here.

We walked back one block to our convenientlya located apartment and went to bed at 2am.
